JOHN MCINTYRE

A graduate of North Glasgow College and a tireless session musician, John McIntyre has been touring the world with bands for the past 14 years. While still in his teens, John landed a publishing deal with Kite Records and recorded in the famous Brill Building Studios, where bands such as Deacon Blue and Wet Wet Wet recorded some of their biggest hits.

Previously, John was the front man for the popular wedding band, The Works and he continues to deliver the same sensational display of his trademark vocal and guitar playing abilities as the front man for The Kicks!

Somehow he even finds time to teach guitar and he is currently writing songs for a new album with The Kicks and some well known Glasgow musicians. We don’t know how he finds the time... Personally, I don’t think he sleeps...
